Recovery Coordinator - Nazareth, PA

NHS Human Services are looking for a Full Time Recovery Coordinator to join our Nazareth, Pa Team.

+ This is a key position within the EAC program, responsible for educating residents and staff about the Recovery Model and managing efforts to incorporate this approach into all that is done within the program.
+ The Recovery Coordinator will be the liaison and primary point of contact within the community.
+ Specific responsibilities will include community stakeholder engagement, mental health/recovery and EAC education, facilitation of successful community transitions, mentoring of the Certified Peer Specialist(s) and coordination with the County MH/MR Office(s) and Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations.
+ The Recovery Coordinator will rotate across all shifts as necessary and conduct activities both within and outside of the program in the community.
+ Requirements include the ability to demonstrate knowledge of local community stakeholders and system of care.
+ The Extended Acute Care program is located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and offers a community based, holistic, recovery approach to residential programming with the primary objective of helping consumers live successful and fulfilling lives in the community.

+ The Recovery Coordinator position requires a Bachelor Degree in the Human Services field
+ (Master Degree preferred).
+ Knowledge of the Recovery Model is mandatory with a preference of at least one (1) year working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis.
+ Valid PA Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
