WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
To excel as the Community Programs Coordinator at Second Harvest Food Bank, you will need a diverse range of skills and abilities.
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role.
Strong project management and administrative skills are essential, as you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various programs.
Your ability to develop and implement effective programs, conduct research, collect and analyze data, and provide insightful reports will be vital to your success.
In addition, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, will enable you to make impactful public presentations and collaborate effectively with team members and partners.
With your exceptional organizational skills, you'll be adept at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple responsibilities.
While previous food industry experience is helpful, it is not required.
However, you will need to obtain certification in safe food handling within six months of starting.
