How do you fit in? Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, meeting production targets, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment in support of operational, people and manufacturing goals.
Do you have what it takes? Interface and collaborate with production and support functions to resolve operational and personnel conflicts to mitigate and manage impacts to production goals during operating shifts.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and employee development.
Identify training needs and provide coaching to enhance employee skills and performance.
Support production demands by ensuring the appropriate levels of personnel staffing based on machine scheduling.
Support and audit production flow, output and quality standards.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices Review and audit production reports and facilitate resolution of operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues to prevent operational delays to mitigate unnecessary costs.
Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are trained in proper safety procedures.
Address any safety concerns promptly to prevent accidents and injuries.
Facilitate clear communication between production teams and management.
Provide regular updates on production status, challenges, and achievements to relevant people.
Address production issues and challenges as they arise, making quick and informed decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
Analyze root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Supervise personnel and operations to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Ensure training and validation for production teams.
Maintain proper housekeeping throughout all areas and keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
