Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer Trainee to join our team in Nazareth, PA.
As an Electrical Engineer Trainee you will develop field skills while exercising your ability to participate in a dynamic team setting.
You will support the operations in achieving goals through partnering with experienced engineers and managers in different departments (safety, environmental, operations, maintenance, quality control, and quarry) and at different locations.

What You'll Get To Do:
Participate in plant operation and maintenance meetings Learn basic supervisory skills by working side-by-side with supervisors Complete assigned project work Work with maintenance team regarding electrical engineering projects Analyze function of electrical and control systems Conduct root cause analysis Participate in Continuous Improvement Program by suggesting changes in routines, personnel, equipment improvement and process improvement Follow plant and MSHA Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Maintain an awareness of plant environmental standards.
Takes corrective action to address minor problems or reports compliance issues to appropriate department for resolution.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering with solid academic achievements Prior exposure to a heavy manufacturing environment Willingness to travel to other locations during training program Strong leadership skills Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with 24-hour operations Ability to adapt to change and respond well under pressure.
